Patrician wins Sparta tourney

Patrician Academy won the Sparta Academy Tournament Saturday night in Evergreen, Ala.
The Saints whipped Sparta 62-44 behind 24 points from All-Tournament selection Hunter Campbell. He also had 10 rebounds.
Russell Cheatham chipped in 13 points and Travis Abate with 10.
The tournament win moves Patrician to 6-4. Sparta falls to 7-5.
Joining Campbell on the All-Tourney team was Brian Anderson from Patrician.
In the girls third place game, Patrician beat Crenshaw 57-54.
Leslie Goodman had 16 points and seven rebounds and was named to the All-Tournament team.
Kristen Anderson chipped in 13 points and Melissa Archibald had 10.
Sparta was led by Susan Turner with 20 points while Stacey Sport had 19.
