Armed men attempt to rob Burger King

The Meridian Police Department is investigating the late-night Friday attempted armed robbery of the drive-through window at Burger King on North Frontage Road.
Workers at the store said at least two men drove up to the window in a black sports utility vehicle about 8:30 p.m. and demanded money.
Shane Massey, a detective with the MPD, said officers will continue to investigate the attempted armed robbery and follow up on leads in the case.
