Fannie Merle Coody Dixon
GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for Fannie Merle Coody Dixon will be held today at 11 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Gilbert Eaves and Gregory Love officiating. Burial will be in Springbank Cemetery.
Ms. Dixon, 81, of Gilbertown, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, at Willow Trace Nursing Center in Butler, Ala.
Survivors include her sons, George Edward Dixon and Jerry Wayne Dixon, both of Saraland, Ala., and Billy Joe Dixon of Gilbertown; daughters, Hazel Marie Griffith of Scott Mountain, Ala., Alice Ruth Mazingo of Chatom, Ala., Rebecca Sue Blount of Butler and Sherry Gale Gardner of Tibbie, Ala.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

RICHTON Services for Corine M. Therrell will be held today at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church with the Revs. Winnie McMahan and Johnny Watts officiating. Burial will be in Jackson County Memorial Park. Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Therrell, 66, of Chunky, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Carlton E. "Gene" Therrell of Chunky; a daughter, Angela Speir of Pascagoula; a sister, Florine Bounds of Purvis; a brother, David Madden of Kiln; and three grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
Dan W. Davis
Trust officer and investor
Graveside services for Dan W. Davis will be held today at 3 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Davis, 76, of Memphis, Tenn., died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, in St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
Survivors include two nephews, Tommy Davis of Spartanburg, S.C., and Robert Davis of Jackson; and a niece, Rachel Fowlkes of Abingdon, Va.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John T. Davis Jr.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, Memphis Public Library, St. Jude's Hospital or Rhodes College.
Marguerite Kemp Taylor
NEWTON Services for Marguerite Kemp Taylor will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Decatur United Methodist Church with the Rev. Billy Owen officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Taylor, 82, of Decatur, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, in Hattiesburg.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Timothy A. McDaniel
Services for Timothy A. McDaniel will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. McDaniel, 45, of Collinsville, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jesse W. Reynolds Jr.
Retired
Services for Jesse W. "J.W." Reynolds Jr. will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church in the Whynot Community. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Reynolds, 88, of the Whynot Community, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, in his home.
Visitation will be in Thursday 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
Frederick W. Mayo Jr.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Frederick W. Mayo Jr., 88, of Meridian, who died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
