RUTH ANNELL MCALISTER

Services for Ruth Annell McAlister will be held today at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Buford Usry and Jimmy Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Suqualena Cemetery.
Mrs. McAlister, 76, of Meridian, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, at Queen City Nursing Home. She loved children and sewing. She worked at Westwood Baptist Church nursery for more than 10 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Helen Hudnell and her husband, Willie, of Meridian, and Sandra Brennan of Spring Lake, N.J.; a son, John McAlister and his wife, Wanda, of Collinsville; grandchildren, Christy Brennan Kolodziejski and her husband, Nick, of Manasquan, N.J., Timothy Edward Brennan of Spring Lake, N.J., Hollee Anne Hudnell Palmer and her husband, Ian, of Dothan, Ala., James Michael and Mandy Hudnell of Meridian, William Jason Hudnell and Heather Alisha Hudnell, both of Meridian, John Bryan McAlister II of Collinsville and Whitney Lain McAlister of Meridian; great-grandchildren, Kimmie Hudnell and Abby Hudnell; and sisters-in-law, Marjorie Shepard and Anna Shepard, both of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Leslie McAlister; parents, John and Mattie Mae McAlister; and brothers, J.V. Shepard and J.A. Shepard.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Richie McAlister, Mike Beddingfield, Bobby Beddingfield, Ricky Roberts, Buck Roberts and Chuck Roberts.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Patsy Hall will be held today at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Mike Ragland officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Ms. Hall, 61, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was employed with U.S. Motors in Philadelphia.
Survivors include a son, James Allen Joyner of Philadelphia; two daughters, Debby Lundy and Lorri Anderson, both of Philadelphia; five brothers, Edward Hall of Troy, Mich., Russell Hall, Anderson Hall and Bobby Hall, all of Philadelphia, and Mike Hall of Columbia; a sister, Betty Woods of Philadelphia; and four grandchildren.
CHARLES H. PEPPLE JR.
Truck driver
Services for Charles H. Pepple Jr. will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Tilghman officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Pepple, 36, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, in Dallas. He was employed with Roadway Express. He was a 1984 graduate of West Lauderdale High School and a driver for Roadway Express the last eight years.
Survivors include a son, Charles H. "Trey" Pepple III of Meridian; four daughters, Danielle, Chelsea, Ashley Leeanne and Megan Pepple, all of Meridian; his parents, Charles H. Pepple Sr. and Mary, both of Meridian; a sister, Natalie Pepple Baltzell of Foley, Ala.; his paternal grandmother, Alice Pepple of Pottstown, Pa.; a niece, Natasha Baltzell of Foley; and a nephew, B.J. Baltzell, also of Foley.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Brooke Pepple; his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Ashley Brooke Pepple Scholarship in care of AmSouth Bank.
Visitation is today from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Lee Rivers, Edwin Miller, Richard Gardner, Bob Seep, Jack Fleming and Butch Ivy.
MARY MELROSE CLARK

CONEHATTA Services for Mary Melrose Clark will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Gilmer's Chapel Church of God with the Revs. Jerry Bennett and Junior Pierce officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Clark, 84, of Conehatta, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, at Bedford Care. She was a homemaker and a member of Gilmer's Chapel Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Herman T. Clark of Conehatta; and a host of nieces and nephews.
