Buntyn, Newman

Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Williamson of Starkville and Mr. and Mrs. Mark C. Buntyn of Lake Providence, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Anne Buntyn, to Lee Arthur Newman III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Arthur Newman Jr. of Bruce.
The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, at 6 p.m. at the Chapel of Memories on the campus of Mississippi State University.
Miss Buntyn is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard R. Luke, and Mr. and Mrs. Alston W. Buntyn, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Starkville High School. She received her degree in occupational therapy from Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is employed by the Rankin County School District as an occupational therapist.
Mr. Newman is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lee A. Newman Sr. of Greenville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gus Morgan of Ruleville.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Douglas McArthur High School in San Antonio, Texas. He received a degree in physical therapy from Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
He is currently employed with Rehabilitation Consultants of Jackson as a physical therapist.
A reception will follow the ceremony at the Starkville Country Club.
