Roadway trains officers

Officials with Roadway Express Trucking Co. trained local law enforcement officers in Meridian on Tuesday about how to deal with big rig accidents.
The trucking company gave local law enforcement officers the safety lessons as part of the Commercial Vehicle Safe Training Program. The program was at the Triple I training center on Sand Flat Road.
Assistant Chief Keith McCary of the Meridian Police Department said most officers don't have enough training on accidents involving 18-wheelers.
