Brabyn, Floyd

Aimee Suzanne Floyd and Thomas Paul Brabyn, both of Memphis, Tenn., were married Saturday, July 13, 2002, at the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort in Point Clear, Ala. The Revs. Charles Kamper Floyd Jr. and Helen Tester, both of the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi, officiated at the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Edward Floyd of Diamondhead, formerly of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. Philip Brabyn of Naples, Fla.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Harold G. Williamson of Collinsville, the late Helen S. Blair of Barnard, Kan., and H. Ronald Floyd of Fair Oaks, Calif.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester Brabyn of Newport Beach, Calif., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Teare of Manhattan, Kan.
Nuptial music for the ceremony was provided by Andra Bohnet, harpist; and Susan McKinnell, flautist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a formal sheath gown of white silk eyelet. The fitted bodice was embellished with seed pearls and crystals. The bride wore a veil of white silk illusion and carried a hand-tied bouquet of white roses, sweet peas and tweedia.
Ashlee Lauren Harvey of Memphis, Tenn., was maid of honor.
Other attendants were Kristy Suzanne Fleming of Memphis, Mary Suzanne Moseley of Atlanta, Jo Carol Robison of Atlanta, Simone Nicole Tullos of Memphis and Alana McNeil Vining of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Joshua Roberts of Boca Raton, Fla., served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Matthew Brabyn of Naples, Fla., James Diggs of Memphis, Charles Ciruli of Tubac, Ariz., Jay Rosebery of Dallas, Adam Yancey of Memphis and Patrick Floyd of Tallahassee, Fla.
Scriptural readings were given by Molly Brabyn of San Diego, sister of the bridegroom, and Patrick Floyd of Tallahassee, brother of the bride.
On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held in the sky lounge of the Grand Hotel, hosted by the bridegroom's parents.
On the day of the wedding, a bridesmaid luncheon was held at noon in the card room of the Grand Hotel and hosted by the bride's aunt, Anita Vining.
A reception was held in the Azalea Ballroom of the Grand Hotel following the ceremony. Music was provided by Tapestry of Montgomery, Ala.
After an extended honeymoon stay at the Grand Hotel and a trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in Memphis.
