Larissa Michelle Fleming of Collinsville and William Elliott Laughlin of Meridian were married Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, at First Baptist Church in Collinsville with the Rev. Matthew Snowden officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Larry J. Fleming of Collinsville, and Dr. and Mrs. Carl S. Laughlin of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie C. Watkins of Philadelphia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Austin J. Fleming of Quitman.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. John W. McCraw of Meridian, William Porter and Dr. Jeanine Laughlin-Porter of Hattiesburg and the late Rev. John T. Laughlin.
Nuptial music was provided by Wayne McInnis, pianist; Paul Laughlin, soloist and guitarist; Holly Jones and Emily Laughlin, soloists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a formal white tulle gown. The fitted bodice was strapless and featured corded embroidery with pearls, crystal beading and rhinestones. The gathered skirt featured scattered crystals that swept into a cathedral-length train. She wore a two-tiered veil of silk illusion anchored by a headband of rhinestones and pearls.
Maid of honor was Amy Fleming of Collinsville.
Other attendants were Emily Laughlin of Washington, D.C., Misty Murray of Collinsville, Courtney Sullivan and Heather French of Meridian, Lauren Mathis of Oxford and Kelly Peugh of Aberdeen.
Kira Fleming of Starkville served as flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Snowden, Paul Boles, Jeff Church and Tyler McCraw, all of Meridian, and David Laughlin of Hattiesburg.
Ushers were Chris McKinnion, David Palmer, Brad Dearman, Justin Branton and Keith Farmer, all of Meridian, and Tyler Williams of Collinsville.
John David McCraw of Meridian served as ring bearer.
Bubble girls were Laneria Watkins, Alexa McKinnion, Adriana Gilbert and Hannah McLain. Registry attendant was Lara Beth Laughlin.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Mary Jones, Sandra Watkins, Kim McWilliams, Hope Mabry, Rusty Gressett and Beth Goodman.
After a honeymoon in New Orleans, the couple resides in Corpus Christi, Texas.
