QUITMAN Graveside services for Annie Mae Dearman Davidson will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Ford Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Revs. Buddy Braddock and Leland Goodman officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Davidson, 84, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, C.W. Davidson; brothers, Cleo Dearman, Clyde Dearman and Leroy Dearman, all of Meridian, and Joseph Dearman of Alexandria, La.; a sister, Dot Smith of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Velma Thornhill; and brothers, Clarence, Harvey and Brady Dearman.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Nellie G. "Jim" Mowdy will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Bethsaida Baptist Church with the Revs. W.B. Webb and Stanley Barnett officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mowdy, 88, of Orlando, Fla., died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, in Orlando. She was a native of Mississippi and moved to Orlando from Meridian in 1986. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Orlando. She taught Sunday school and sang in the choir as a member of Midway Baptist Church and Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Meridian.
Survivors include her son, Wilburn Mowdy of Orlando; a daughter, Joyce Johnson of Milledgeville, Ga.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Mowdy; three brothers and six sisters.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or First Baptist Church of Orlando I Love My Church Fund.

Services for Luther Stribling will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Stribling, 96, of Meridian, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his daughters, Margaret Easley of Mobile, Ala., Louise McGhee of Meridian and Barbara Fowg of Detroit; 14 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be in Saturday 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Roberts, 50, of Vossburg, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman.
Survivors include her daughters, Diane Roberts of Vossburg and Betty Ray of Shubuta; a son, Tyrone Roberts of Vossburg; brothers, Albert Roberts and Horace Roberts of Vossburg, Willie Roberts of Matherville and James H. Roberts; sisters, Susan Roberts, Celestine Roberts and Henrietta Roberts of Vossburg and Pearline McCarty of Shubuta; her parents, Creola and James Roberts of Vossburg; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Mamie Frances Rawson Culpepper will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Kevin Jones officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Culpepper of Meridian, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, at Queen City Nursing Center. She was a member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church, the Eastern Star Miriam Rebecca Lodge and the Senior Citizens. She was an avid bowler before entering the nursing home.
Survivors include her son, Carroll Warren Culpepper and his wife, Patsy, of Meridian; grandchildren, Warren Patrick Culpepper and his wife, Donna, of Madison, Ala., Phillip Lloyd Culpepper and his wife, Kim, of Kewanee; great-granddaughters, Ashley, Shanna and Jolie of Madison, and Lea Anna of Kewanee; a great-grandson, Shannon of Kewanee; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shannon Culpepper; parents, Robert Y. and Gladys Rawson; sisters, Bobbie Rawson, Doris Milstead and Lolita Donald; and brothers, Guy and Glenn Rawson.
Visitation will be Saturday 1 p.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Shirley M. McCree will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church in DeSoto with the Rev. Lonnie Nicholson officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. McCree, 45, of Columbus, Ohio, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, in Columbus.
Survivors include her daughters, Tracy Gates of Columbus, Ohio, and Amy Wansley of Decatur; sons, Richard and Mario McCree, both of Quitman, and Victor McCree of Columbus; brothers, Johnnie Lee Edwards of Shubuta, Albert Gates of Quitman, James Gates of Enterprise and Roger Gates of Columbus, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Saturday 2 p.m.-3 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Phillips, 61, of Jackson, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice in Meridian.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Taylor of Jackson; a son, Michael DeLaughter of Jackson and one grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Guardian Angel Hospice or Care Lodge of Meridian.

SEBASTOPOL Graveside services for James M. Buntyn were held Tuesday 3 p.m. at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Richard Robbins and Jamie Lamoreaux officiating. Milling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Buntyn, 57, of Collinsville, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at University Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Karen Buntyn of Collinsville; a daughter, Amy Kay Withers and her husband, Bryan, of Collinsville; a granddaughter; a sister, Susan Tayman of Anchorage, Alaska; brothers, John H. Buntyn Jr. and Robert C. Buntyn, both of El Paso, Texas; his in-laws, Verlene and Earl Childs of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Buntyn Sr. and Winifred C. Buntyn.
