EDDIE LEE MOORE

Graveside services for Eddie Lee "Bill" Moore were to be held today at 11:30 a.m. at Cokers Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Jessie F. Long III officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Moore, 75, of Waynesboro, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, at Pine View Nursing Home in Waynesboro. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in World War II. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Waynesboro and a retired painter at Meridian Frame and Body Works.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Taylor Moore of Waynesboro; sons, Jimmy Moore and Wayne Moore, both of Meridian; a daughter, Julia Ann Bollinger of Alton, Ill.; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Moore and his wife, Rowena, Brooks "Sonny" Moore and his wife, Addie; sisters, Betty Coker and her husband, Tommy, and Clarice Griffis and her husband, Pete, all of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Brooks Moore and Margaret Ann Moore; brothers, George Melvin Moore; and a sister, Elsie Moore Smith.
Memorials may be made to Cokers Chapel Cemetery Fund.

NEWTON Services for Annie Mary Collins will be held today at 2 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Lin Chesney and Clifton Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Pine Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Collins, 83, of Newton, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Pine Bluff Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Ronald Collins and his wife, Sandra, of Vicksburg, Donald Collins and his wife, Mary, of Newton, Ray Collins and his wife, Pam, of Newton and Johnny Collins and his wife, Mary Ann, of Hickory; a sister, Gayle Alford of Morton; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.E. Collins; two grandchildren, David and Rhonda Collins; and one great-grandchild, Troy Collins.
Pallbearers will be Tony Collins, Terry Collins, Tim Collins, John Collins, Mark Collins, Donnie Collins, Jay Collins, Colt Collins and Angela Craven.
WILLIAM HARVEY GODWIN

Services for William Harvey "Preacher" Godwin will be held today at 2 p.m. at Bucatunna Baptist Church with the Revs. Roland Haney and Jim Arnell officiating. Burial will be in Bucatunna Cemetery.
Mr. Godwin, 73, of Meridian, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, at his home.
Survivors include his son, Kenneth Godwin of Meridian; five daughters, Sue Roberson of Quitman, and, Linda Reeves, Marsha Neal, Amy Mars and Angie Ethridge, all of Meridian; a brother, Horace Godwin; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Velma Godwin; a son, Marcus Godwin; his parents Byrd and Lula Godwin; and a brother, Howard Godwin of Meridian.
Pallbearers will be Michael Roberson, Corey Godwin, Keith Miller, Christopher Neal, Chad Roberson, Donnie Queen, Kevin Reeves and Junior Smith.
JESSIE C. PERSONS

MACON Services for Jessie C. Persons will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Gerald Butler and Bobby Joe Butler officiating. Burial will be in Shuqualak Cemetery.
Mrs. Persons, 83, of Shuqualak, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002, at Noxubee General Hospital in Macon.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas Earl Persons of Huntsville, Ala., Gene Persons of Noxapater and Bob Persons of Macon; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Hazel Sanborn of Noxapater, Mary Eunice Hankins of Jackson and Charlene Price of Louisville; a brother, Phillip Coleman of Noxapater; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Persons; a brother, Thomas Fred Coleman; and two sisters, Edna Charlton and Beatrice Davidson.
Visitation will be today 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

MACON Graveside services for Thomas C. Daniel were held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Pinetucky Cemetery in Shuqualak with the Rev. Ervin Jones officiating. Cockrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Daniel, 62, of Noxubee County, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his sisters, Mamie Strickland of Macon, Lovdie Boykin of Moss Point, Helen Matthews of Noxapater, Mary Ann Reel of Preston, Betty Rigdon of Union and Janice Little of Preston; three brothers, John Daniel of Columbus, Gene Daniel of Shreveport and Jerry Daniel of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Kimbrough Middlebrooks, 84, of Meridian, who died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice in Marion.
