Kelly Dyanne Joiner and Donald Eric McNair III, both of Birmingham, Ala., were married Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at the Church of the Mediator with the Revs. Susan Sloan officiating and Ann Whitaker assisting.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Joiner and Don McNair, all of Meridian, and Lou Rawson of Bethesda, Md.
Grandparents of the bride are Margie Joiner and the late Ray Joiner, Charles Lowery and the late Dorothy Lowery, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Weesie Simpson, the late Douglas Simpson and the late Donald Eric McNair and Beatrice McNair.
Nuptial music was provided by Dr. Chris Jenkins, organist; Sue Shoffiett, flautist; and Jamie Weems, guitarist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory gown of duchess silk satin. The gown featured a strapless bodice and dropped waistline accented with silk taffeta. The A-line skirt had side pleats and a chapel-length train. Her elbow-length veil was trimmed in satin.
Jennifer Joiner Wilson of Birmingham served as matron of honor.
Other attendants were Angela Rebecca Hopkins of Atlanta, Tavia McNair Huseth of Jackson, Brooke Taylor Kauerz of Starkville, Alyssa Starr Pollman of Jackson, Lauren Joiner Nicholson of Meridian and Eileen McNair Weber of San Diego.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Andrew Huseth and Andrew Warren Impastato, both of Jackson, Christopher Harold McKee and John Scot McMullan, both of Starkville, Eric Clay Swanson of Austin, Texas, and William Earl Wedgworth of Meridian.
Ushers were Henry Bradford Joiner of Meridian, Revis Ray Joiner III of Washington, D.C., and Michael Phillip Wilson of Birmingham.
Flower girl was Hayley Evans Kauerz of Starkville. Ring bearer was Lakin Alexander Huseth of Jackson.
Program attendants were Kristin Salter, Morgan Salter and Renae Lowery.
A reception was held at church following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in Caneel Bay, St. John Island, the couple resides in Birmingham.
