The Cameron Turner Fund has been established at BankPlus to help pay medical expenses for a 3-year-old who has been diagnosed with Lengerns Cell Histiosytosis.
Turner, the son of Floyd and Crystal Turner of Enterprise, was diagnosed with the rare disease that is similar to cancer last month.
Turner's aunt, Rachel Davidson, 40, set up the bank account for the child and has organized some fund-raising projects for the family.
The Turners are currently in Jackson with Cameron at University Medical Center.
The following events have been organized to help the Turner family pay medical expenses:
Today, 7 a.m.-until: A combination bake sale and rummage sale will be held at the Discount Store on Main Street in Pachuta.
Saturday, Nov. 9, 7 a.m.-until: A rummage sale and fish fry will be held at the Enterprise Fire House on Highway 11 in Enterprise.
