Doherty, Anderson

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ward Doherty III of Yantley, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Marie, to Jeffrey Bryan Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Anderson of Clarkdale.
The wedding will be Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Butler, Ala.
Miss Doherty is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Strickland of Meridian, the late Charles Johnson, Sara Doherty of Meridian and Henry Ward Doherty Jr. of Yantley.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Patrician Academy and attended the University of Alabama. Miss Doherty is employed by Le Maxim Salon.
Mr. Anderson is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gratten of Meridian, Lessie Anderson of Clarkdale and the late Howard M. Anderson.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale High School. He is self-employed.
A reception will be held at the home of the bride following the ceremony.
