Davis, Smith

Van Davis and Carmen Renfrow, both of Meridian, announce the engagement of their daughter, Charlotte Rene Davis, to Jason William Smith, son of James and Terri Smith of Coatopa, Ala.
The wedding will be Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002, at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church.
Miss Davis is the granddaughter of Bernice and Gerry Davis, and R.B Womack and the late Allene Womack, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and received an associate's degree from Meridian Community College.
Miss Davis is currently recording her first album with Eleventh Commandment Records of New Orleans.
Mr. Smith is the grandson of John and Ima Neuhauser, Julia Smith and the late John A. Smith, all of Livingston, Ala.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Demopolis High School and received an associate's degree from Meridian Community College.
Mr. Smith is employed by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
A reception will be held at the home of Bernice and Gerry Davis.
