Two teen-agers remained in custody today at the Lauderdale County jail on charges of residential burglary.
Matthew Moes, 18, 8911 West Parkway North, Lauderdale, is being held on $20,000 bond. Ryan Engels, 17, 3637 A Alice Drive, Lauderdale, is being held on $10,000 bond.
Lauderdale County Sheriff Billy Sollie said the two teens were arrested Tuesday on charges they allegedly took a stereo and other technical equipment from a Dalewood home on Sunday.
Sollie said the homeowner noticed something suspicious and, with the help of an off-duty sheriff's deputy working for Dalewood security, discovered the burglary.
He said the deputy worked with investigators to piece together evidence and make the arrests. Both teen-agers are Dalewood Shores residents.
