Lauderdale County sheriff's deputies are following leads today in their investigation of the Sunday armed robbery of a convenience store in Collinsville.
Maj. Ward Calhoun, a spokesman for the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department, said a store clerk at SuperStop in Collinsville told police that an armed black man and a white woman entered the store around 4:30 a.m.
Calhoun said an undisclosed amount of money was taken from the store. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 917-8888.
