Hurricane Lili brought wet weather to the area and forced a few local games to be pushed back to later dates.
A pair of local soccer games and a football game were pushed back because of the wet weather and threat of more severe weather.
The MPSA AAA girls soccer playoff game that was to be played at Lamar at 3 p.m. was moved to Monday. The game is scheduled to be played at 3 p.m. Monday afternoon.
The soccer matchup between Meridian Community College and East Central Community College was moved back for the second straight week because of bad weather. The game has been pushed back to today. It will be played at the MCC soccer field starting at 4 p.m.
The weather also affected junior college football. East Mississippi's game with Mississippi Delta that was schedule for Thursday night has been moved to Saturday. The two teams will face off at 1 p.m.
