Oct. 4-5 Barfield Family will hold its reunion at New Hope Blackwater Baptist Church on Friday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. The reunion continues Saturday at 11 a.m. at Highland Park. For information, call Marcell Hudnall Leggett at 483-6352.
Oct. 5 Southeast Lauderdale High School Class of 1974 will hold its reunion at noon at Coot's Crossing at Bonita Lakes. Bring a picnic lunch, lawn chair, beverage of choice, pictures and memorabilia from high school. If you have not already been contacted, call Debby Payne after 5 p.m. at 693-1423 or Cythnia Thomas at 632-1034 for details. Registration is $15.
Oct. 5 Lynville High School annual reunion will be at Tommy's Steak and Seafood Restaurant on Highway 39 North at 11 a.m. Students and their spouse are invited to attend. Teacher and former students are also invited. For information, call Virginia Eldridge at 632-9481 or Juanita Gully at 677-3846.
Oct. 5 St. Joseph Community Hospital, now Alliance Health Care, reunion will begin at 10 a.m. at Bonita Lakes Shelter No. 1. All former and current employees are invited to attend. For information, call 482-0681.
Oct. 11-12 Meridian High School Class of 1942 will hold its 60th class reunion at Howard Johnson Convention Center. Students from classes of 1940-1949 may attend. For information, call Dot Yochim-Gleason at 485-8072 or send e-mail to: dotdavid@webtv.net. Deadline for reservations is Oct. 1.
Oct. 11-12 483rd Ordnance Evacuation Co. U.S. Army World War II veterans will hold a reunion at Howard Johnson Motor Court in Meridian. For information, call Katherine Daniels at 737-2536.

Oct. 12 The 20th annual reunion of the Civilian Conservation Corps will be at Moundville Archaeological Park in Moundville, Ala. The reunion will begin at 10 a.m. in the conference center next to the Indian Village overlooking the Black Warrior River. Families are invited, bring a picnic lunch. Oct. 12 The 122nd Annual Bailey Reunion will be at Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Sebastopol beginning at 10 a.m. Bring a lunch and enjoy the food, fun and fellowship. For information, call the Rev. Lamar Jackson at (423) 336-3627.
Oct. 13 Descendants of Henry and Sarah Harrell Fox will hold their 48th annual reunion at Hugh White State Park Lodge, Grenada. Coffee and registration begin Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Picnic lunch will be in the lodge dining room.
