Division titles on line this week

Many of the division slow-pitch softball championships and playoff berths will be settled by this week's games.
The Division 5-3A battle between West Lauderdale and Newton County resumes Tuesday night when the two meet in Decatur at 7 p.m. Both teams have one league loss with West taking the first contest between the two teams.
Monday's games in Division 6-1A have Edinburg hosting Nanih Waiya, Noxapater hosting Lake, and Sebastopol coming to Union.
Newton County hosts Carthage tonight at 6 p.m. in a makeup game from last week.
On Tuesday, in 2-4A, Neshoba Central goes to New Hope with the league title on the line.
In 5-4A, Northeast Lauderdale travels to Quitman. In 5-3A, Southeast Lauderdale hosts Choctaw Central.
In 5-2A, Newton goes to Bay Springs and Enterprise visits Taylorsville.
In non-division action, Carthage visits Forest.
On Wednesday, Union makes up a 6-1A rainout at Lake at 4 p.m.
On Thursday, in 5-3A, West Lauderdale goes to Carthage and Newton County hosts Philadelphia.
In 5-2A, Bay Springs travels to Taylorsville and Clarkdale hosts Newton in a doubleheader.
In 6-1A, Nanih Waiya hosts Union with the division title at stake. In other 6-1A games, Noxapater hosts Edinburg and Sebastopol visits Lake.
In 6-3A, Forest goes to Richland. In non-division action, Choctaw Central hosts Meridian and Enterprise goes to Laurel.
In an addition to the schedule, Newton County will host a four-team tournament on Saturday. West Lauderdale and Neshoba Central will play at 11 a.m. with Newton County taking on Northeast Lauderdale at 12:15 p.m. The losers will play at 1:30 with the winners meeting in the championship contest at 2:45.
