Cruz, Galyean

Heather Rose Galyean and Rodolfo Fabio Rios Cruz were married Friday, July 26, 2002, in a civil ceremony with Judge Alejandra Villegas presiding.
The couple celebrated their marriage with a ceremony of Thanksgiving at the Horeb Baptist Church in Mexico City on Aug. 10, 2002, with the Rev. Gilberto Guiterrez officiating.
Parents of the couple are Sherian Galyean of Meridian and Rodolfo and Margarita Rios.
The bride is the granddaughter of Floyd and Rose Galyean of Meridian.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Jose Cruz of Mexico City, Mexico.
Nuptial music was provided by Johnathan Hernandez, pianist. Soloist was Ephrain Ocampo of the Christian band, "Filia."
The bride wore a formal white satin with an empire waistline encrusted with pearls at the waist, arms and neck and featured a chapel-length train. Her elbow-length veil was trimmed with white satin and anchored by a pearl covered head piece. The veil was designed and made especially for her by her mother and aunt. She carried a bouquet of 64 red rose buds trimmed with white satin ribbons.
After a honeymoon in Ixatapa-Zihuatanejo, the couple resides in Mexico City. Heather is a teacher at the Mexico City Christian Academy, where she has served for years as a missionary with the International Mission Board. Rodolfo is employed with Schott Glass Mexicana and is a member of the Christian Band, "Filia."
