NEL routs South Jones, 18-1

Lauren Webb and Raleigh Odom both belted home runs to pace Northeast Lauderdale to an 18-1 rout of South Jones on Tuesday night in Ellisville.
The win keeps Northeast unbeaten in Division 5-4A play at 8-0. They are now 16-2 overall.
Webb slugged a three-run home run and also had a double to finish 2-for-2. Odom had a two-run homer and also ended 2-for-2.
Blair Rawson had a double and a triple to finish with two hits. Kara Hull had three hits including a triple. Northeast finished with 15 hits in all.
The Lady Trojans are scheduled to play West Jones on Thursday at Northeast Park, weather permitting.
Clarkdale 12
Bay Springs 6
Clarkdale remained unbeaten in Division 5-2A by slipping past Bay Springs 12-6 in Bay Springs on Tuesday night.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 9-7 overall and are 3-0 in the division. They finished with 17 hits.
Bay Springs led 3-1 after two innings but Clarkdale rallied with five runs in the third to take a 6-3 lead. It was 6-4 going to the fifth when Clarkdale scored two more runs to go up 8-4.
They added three runs in the sixth to extend the margin to 11-4. Bay Springs got single runs in the sixth and seventh innings.
JorD'an Orr led Clarkdale going 4-for-4. Megan Potate had three hits including two doubles.
Ashley Bye, Kaleigh Thrash and Sabrina Woodall all went 2-for-3. Thrash and Woodall each had a double. Lindsey Dawkins had two hits.
Neshoba Central 14
Louisville 4
Neshoba Central remained in control of Division 2-4A by whipping Louisville 14-4 on Tuesday night.
The Rockets are 4-0 in division play and 13-4 overall.
Sarah Williamson led the way for Neshoba Central with three hits and three RBIs. Amber Dean had two hits and drove in two runs.
Sondria Hilley had four hits while Katie Chandler was 2-for-3.
Neshoba Central returns to action on Thursday when West Point visits.
