Airmen complete basic training

U.S. Air Force Airman Zachary L. Scott has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization and customs; performed drill and ceremony marches; and received physical training and special training in human relations.
Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the grandson of Linnie Scott of 30th Avenue in Meridian and a 2002 graduate of Meridian High School.
Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Brandy L. Harper has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

She is the daughter of Melissa Hamilton of Lost Horse Road, Meridian, and James Harper Jr. of New Albany, Miss.
Harper is a 2002 graduate of Mississippi School for Math and Science in Columbus.
