Breckenridge, Young

Mr. and Mrs. Marion Breckenridge of DeKalb announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Shanna Lark Breckenridge, to James Matthew Young, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Young of Saltillo.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Verona.
Dr. Breckenridge is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Breckenridge of Preston, Georgia Lang of DeKalb and the late Oubre Lang.
The bride-elect graduated as valedictorian of Kemper Academy. She received an associate's degree from East Mississippi Community College and a bachelor's of pharmaceutical science from the University of Mississippi where she graduated magna cum laude. She received her doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Mississippi.
While attending Ole Miss, she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Rho Chi Honor societies.
Dr. Breckenridge is employed by Kroger Pharmacy in Springhill, Tenn.
Mr. Young is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Young of Verona, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Caldwell of Saltillo.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Tupelo High School and Itawamba Community College.
Mr. Young is employed by Carrier Corp. as a sales representative in Nashville, Tenn.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
