JOHN DAVID BAKER
Art teacher
Services for John David Baker will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rick Wise officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.
Mr. Baker, 59, of Meridian, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital. Mr. Baker was an art teacher with the Meridian Public School system for more than 34 years.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Barrett Baker; a daughter, Jessica Baker Benthall and her husband, Wayne; a granddaughter, Anna Barrett, all of Meridian; two sisters, Selina Baker Warmack and her husband, Pat, and Donna Baker Parker, all of North Carolina; a sister-in-law Linda Walker and her husband, Wiley, of SoSo and an aunt, Esta Lena Bryant and her husband, Billy, of Ridgeland; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and John W. Baker and his grandmother, Daisy Griffin.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or to the Myesthania Gravis Association.
Pallbearers will be Mark Keith, Mike Bryant, Timmy Bryant, Ed Hackett, Jeff Walker and Paul Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Woods, Max Huey, Steve Owens, Richard Holloway, and Ronnie DePalma.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
ERCELL MAE MALONE
Retired
SEBASTOPOL Services for Ercell Mae Malone will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Milling Funeral Home with the Rev. Max Malone and Brother Jessie Thrash officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Leake County.
Mrs. Malone, 67, of Walnut Grove, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2002, in Madden.
Survivors include her husband, Max Malone; two sisters, Lessie D. Osborne, of Carthage, and Hessie Monk, of Lena.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
ODELL DUAYNE ROGERS
Retired truck driver
LOUISVILLE Services for Odell Duayne Rogers will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Porter Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Hall officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Rogers,85, of Louisville, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002, in his home.
Survivors include his wife,Bobbie Ruth Holdiness Rogers of Louisville; daughters, Peggy Rogers Blevins and Alice Rogers Byrd, both of Meridian, Gale Rogers Emerson of Memphis,Tenn., Johnnie Ruth Rogers Natale of Acworth,Ga., and Deborah Rogers Ethridge and her husband, Bill, of Springhill, Tenn.; sisters, Burnice Wright of Louisville, Lois Hixson of Dunlap, Tenn., Willa Fant, Margie Watson and Ginger Ezell both of Meridian, Ruby Baten of Tucson, Ariz., and Evelyn Miller of Lemon Groves, Calif.; brothers, Johnny Mac Rogers of Oxford and George Rogers of Meridian; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Arrangements were incomplete at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula for Mickey Woods, 68, of Moss Point, who died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, in his home.
