YORK, Ala. Services for Dr. James H. Patrenos Sr. were to be held today at 10 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church with the Rev. Father Richard Losch officiating. Burial was to be in Myrtlewood Cemetery. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Dr. Patrenos, 77, of Livingston, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, in his home. He was the College Administrator at Livingston University (University of West Alabama.)
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn H. Patrenos; two sons, Hiram Patrenos and Gray Patrenos and his wife, Shelley, all of Livingston; a daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Patrenos and her husband, Dr. Steve Williams of Macon, Ga.; grandchildren, Morgan, Conner and Spencer Williams, and Mary-Harmon Patrenos.
Memorials may be made to St. James Episcopal Church.

QUITMAN Services for Danny Ray Peden will be held today at 11 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Clay Chancelor and Wilton Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Creek Cemetery in Clarke County.
Mr. Peden, 38, of Stonewall, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman.
Survivors include his mother, Molly Thompson and his step-father, Bryant, of Stonewall; three brothers, Dean Peden of Conroe, Texas, Walter Thompson of Enterprise and William Thompson of Stonewall; sisters, Debbie Nutt of Quitman, Donna Hill of Butler, Ala., Denise Dodson of Coco, Fla., Dawn of Montgomery, Ala., Deidre McDevitt of Meridian and Dinah Mixon of Enterprise; 19 nieces and nephews and four great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Bracknell.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Huland Boatner will be held today at 3 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be in Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston County.
Mr. Boatner, 76, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, at Neshoba County General Hospital in Philadelphia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II. He was owner and operator of Boatner Country Store.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Boatner; sons, Randall Boatner, Donnie Boatner and Hubo Boatner, all of Philadelphia; a sister, Joan Morris of Monroe, La.; and a brother, Dr. Lavon Boatner of Philadelphia.

Mrs. Wooten, 81, of Enterprise, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, William F. "Bill" Wooten; daughters, Margaret Jones and her husband, Earl, of Enterprise and Kathy Briggs and her husband, Jerry, of Birmingham; sons, Billy F. Wooten and his wife, Barbara, of Greenwood and Freddie Wooten and his wife, Margaret, of Meridian; sisters, Bernice Entrekin of Enterprise and Lucille Bostick of Cleveland, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Nettie Allena and Eunice Bonds; and brothers, Jack and Ronald Entrekin.
Pallbearers will be Billy Wooten Jr., Greg Wooten, Eric Wooten, Fredrick Wooten Jr., Austin Scott and Jason "Jay" Briggs.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
