UNION Services for Linda Henry Burson will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marcus Finch officiating. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery.
Mrs. Burson, 59, of Union, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was retired from East Central Alternative School in Decatur. She was a loving and dedicated public school teacher for 35 years, a member of First Baptist Church in Union and a very faithful friend to youth in all areas.
Survivors include her sons, Jeremy Burson of Brandon and Cory Burson of Union; a sister Nelda Kennedy and her husband, Otha D., of Union.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Eugene and Elender Stamper Henry.
Pallbearers will be Matthew and Tim Barnett, Tyler Hancock, Joseph Dollar, Billy McCune and Gerald Rigdon.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
CHRISTOPHER MABRY
MARSHALL, Texas Services for Christopher Mabry will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Travis Street Colonial Chapel of Sullivan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Colonial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Mabry, 44, of Marshall, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, in Marshall. He was born March 23, 1958, in Meridian. He attended school in Ackworth, Ga. He married Jean Stinson on Sept. 22, 1984 in Newton County. He attended Crossroads Baptist Church and was a member of the DAV. He was employed with General Motors Corporation.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Mabry of Marshall; his parents, Ernest Mabry of Duffee and Pauline Mabry of Easley, S.C.; his children, Matthew William Mabry, Gary W. Mitchell, and Jessie A. Mitchell; three grandchildren, Baile Mitchell, Seth Alexander Mitchell and Christian Goodwin; brothers, Chester Mabry of Centralia, Wash., Craig Mabry of Duffee and Corey Mabry of Easley, S.C.; a sister, Charlotte Allen of Easley, S.C. and five nieces and three nephews.
Visitation will be today 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
LEATRICE NEWANA WOODS
Bookkeeper and homemaker
Services for Leatrice Newana Woods will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Howard McKee and Mel Sanders officiating. Burial will be in York Cemetery in York, Ala.
Mrs. Woods, 80, of Meridian, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Sageville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sisters, Maurice Askew, Annie Ruth H. Buck, Vera Jeanette Hale Hill,and her mother-in-law, Uldine Woods of Lake City, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Woods, brothers, James Robert Hale, Willie Eugene Hale and Aubrey Carr Hale.
Visitation will be Wednesday 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Sibyl Wooten, 81, of Meridian, who died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Manley E. "Buck" Green, 90, of Meridian, who died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
