Jonathan Jeck and Bree Hamburg-Jeck of Virginia Beach, Va., announce the birth of a son, Collin Luke, on Aug. 5, 2002, at Virginia Beach Hospital.
Paternal grandparents are Dennis Jeck of Davie, Fla., and Foy and Gloria Watson of Austin, Texas.
Maternal grandparents are Michael and Lynne Smith of Meridian and the late William Hamburg.
Mrs. Jeck is the former Bree Hamburg.
Ricky Lewis and Tanya Lang of Meridian announce the birth of a son, Skyler Raven, on Aug. 22, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Anthony Evans of Shubuta and Sarah Talley of Meridian announce the birth of a son, Anthony Kajuan Evans Jr., on Aug. 23, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Glean Dora and Roy Anderson of Shubuta.
Maternal grandparents are Patricia Talley of Meridian and Anthony Talley Sr. of Detroit.
Kaylum Nichols of Newton announces the birth of a daughter, Akil Treneer Kidd, on Aug. 23, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Maternal grandparent is Vanessa Nichols of Newton.
Sarrica Anderson of Conehatta announces the birth of a son, Kashdem Taij, on Aug. 25, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Tremayne and Stephanie Ruffin of Meridian announce the birth of a son, Tremayne Darrell Ruffin Jr., on Aug. 25, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Tommie Jean and Greenbury Ruffin of Meridian.
Maternal grandparents are Nora and Robert McKenzie of Quitman.
Charlette Collins of Quitman announces the birth of a son, Christian Mi'Shaun, on Aug. 25, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Janie Grady announces the birth of a daughter, Savanna Maria, on Aug. 27, 2002, at Riley Hospital.

Daniel and Edna June Nowell of Louisville, announce the birth of a son, John Clifton, on Aug. 27, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Margaret Merrit and Randale Nowell.
Maternal grandparents are Neva and Ken Cumberland.
Mrs. Nowell is the former Edna June Moore.
Henry and Patricia Kelly of Meridian announce the birth of a son, Henry LaSaun Kelly Jr., on Aug. 27, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
