QUITMAN Services for Jackie Gibson Smith will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dr. Rex Yancey and Hal Bates officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith, 78, of Collinsville, formerly of Quitman, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a retired deputy county clerk.
Survivors include her son, Tommy Smith and his wife, Mary Alice, of Jena, La.; a granddaughter, T'Mara Smith, of Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Earl Smith; a sister, Billie Heath and her parents, T.J. and Luna Mae Gibson.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Collinsville or First Baptist Church in Quitman.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Edwin Arlo Joiner will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Keith Grubbs and Bill Webb officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mr. Joiner, 74, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired residential contractor. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church where he was a trustee and a lifetime member.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Joiner of Meridian; daughters, Beth Griffin and her husband, Mason of Birmingham,Ala., Beverly Galbraith and her husband, Dale of Meridian; a son, Markey Joiner and his wife, Sky, of Meridian; grandchildren, Jessica, Win, Christen and Candy; one great-grandchild, Payton Cornish; sisters, Mazell Watkins, Lillian Rickles, and Nanette Winstead; brothers, James A. "Buddy" Joyner, Jessie Q. Joyner Jr. and Billy Joyner.
Pallbearers will be Mike Joyner, Danny Joyner, Dennis Joyner, Everett Rickles, and Win Joiner, and Mike Etheridge.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.- 8p.m. at the funeral home.

PHILADELPHIA Graveside services for Gracie V. White will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Springs Cemetery with the Rev. David Richardson officiating. McClain-Hayes Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. White, 82, of Preston, died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002, at Benchmark Health Care Center.
Survivors include her son, Joseph A. White of Preston; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; sisters, Macie Hurtman of Dyer, Ark., and Lizzie Gripenthrog of Horicon, Wisc.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. White and a daughter, Linda Altomare.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Earl Ezell McShepard will be held Friday at noon at St. Mark United Methodist Church in DeKalb with the Rev. Bass officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Clark's Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McShepard, 78, of DeKalb, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2002, in his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy Mae McShepard of DeKalb; a son, William Earl McShepard of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters, Earnestine Mosely of Detroit, Cleo Allen of DeKalb; two brothers, Lyrie McShepard of DeKalb and James McShepard and his wife, Bonnie, of Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Earl McShepard.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.- 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hull, 37, of Meridian, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002, at Riley Hospital. She was self employed at Renita's Hairport.
Survivors include her mother, Bessie Robinson of Meridian; her husband, Walter Hull; step-daughters, Kim Hull and Rachel Hull; a brother, Cecil Robinson; sisters, Cynthia Robinson, Stephanie Robinson, Sabrina Robinson all of Meridian and Sherrell Bryant of Alabaster, Ala.

Elder Larkin, 51, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Susie Larkin of Meridian; three daughters, Sophia Evins and her husband, Maurice, of Meridian, Delicia Larkin of Troy, Ala., and Carissa Chambers and her husband, Luke Kevin, of Moss Point; two sons, Gregory Larkin and his wife, Antoinette, of Meridian, and Tracey Larkin and his wife, Michelle, of Troy, Ala.; his parents, Nathaniel and Lou Emma Larkin of Troy, Ala.; four sisters, Louise Jordan, Gloria Larkin and Sarah Griffin, all of Troy, Ala., and Gwendolyn Williamson of Dayton, Ohio; six brothers, the Rev. Nathaniel Larkin, the Rev. Alexander Larkin, Kelvin Larkin, all of Troy, Ala., Kenneth Larkin and Ricky Larkin, both of Wetumpka, Ala. and Douglas Larkin of Alexander City, Ala.; and 15 grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bodenhamer, 72, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, Rex R. Bodenhamer of Meridian; four brothers, and two sisters, all of Japan.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Services for Mary Parker will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will be in Gibbs Cemetery in Morning Star, Ala.
Mrs. Parker, 52, of Lauderdale, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, in Brooklyn, New York.
Survivors include her daughter, Constance Parker of Cuba, Ala.; four sisters, Annie B. Carlisle of Lauderdale, Earnestine Smith of Bailey, Florence Patterson of Columbiana, Ala. and Patricia Gibbs and her husband, Isiah, of San Antonio; five brothers, Soloman Gibbs and his wife, Rayleen, of Dallas, Johnny Gibbs of Lauderdale, Jacob Parker and his wife, Angela, of Syclauga, Ala., Jimmy Parker of St. Louis and J. T. Parker and his wife, Pricilla, of Lauderdale; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Flora Gibbs and father, Julian Parker.
Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
