BERNICE WALTER ROGERS
LOUISVILLE Services for Bernice Walter Rogers will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at Tilghman Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bobby Joe Butler, Mike Ingram and David Keen officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Rogers, 68, of Winston County, died Friday, August 16, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He worked for 20 years at the Garment Factory in Macon and served as Plant Manager of the Angelica Uniform Group in Louisville from 1979 to 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Hurt Rogers, his son, Don Rodgers and his wife Rebecca Fulcher, a daughter, Debbie Joiner and her husband, Bennie Mac, all of Louisville; two sisters-in-law, Aleda Mae Lawrence of Columbus; a brother, Berlin Rogers and his wife Clara of Louisville and Jimmie Irene Rogers of Louisville; a brother-in-law, Benny Hurt and his wife, Elsie, of Columbus; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Walter and Mildred Whitehead Rogers, and brothers, Bobby and Benny Roy Rogers.
MARY EDNA ALEXANDER HARRISON

Services for Mary Edna Alexander Harrison will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Ruffin officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Harrison, 89, of Meridian, died Friday, August 16, 2002, at her home. She was a member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church and was in the T.E.L. Sunday School class.
Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Harrison Glaze and her husband, Bob, of Chicago; and Alexis Campbell and her husband, Phil, of Meridian; a brother, W.H. "Alex" Alexander of Chicago; five grandchildren, Michael Williams and Christine Gilson, both of Meridian; Gregory Glaze of Atlanta; Dr. Jeffery Glaze of Birmingham, Ala.; and Patrick Glaze of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sidney Harrison.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
SARAH PEARSON PEUGH
ABERDEEN Services for Sarah Pearson Peugh will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Aberdeen First United Methodist Church with the Revs. R.D. Cline, Dr. Roy McHenry, Andy Cotten, Mark Stokes and Father Tim Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery with Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Peugh, 77, of Aberdeen, died Saturday August 17, 2002 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. She was a philanthropist, journalist, author and missionary.
Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Ann Peugh Franks and her husband, Tom, of Madison, Ala.; and Mary Jo Peugh Ayres and her husband, Stanley of Leland; two sons, Walter Stephen Peugh Jr. and his wife, Betty of Japan; Bob Grant Peugh and his wife, Gale, of Aberdeen; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters, Amelia Pearson and Evelyn McCreight, both of Houston; and a brother, Buddy Pearson of Gadsden, Ala.

DEKALB Services for Lallie C. Moore will be held Tuesday at noon at St. Mark United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Daleville Cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Moore, 85, of Bailey, died Wednesday, August 14, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Moore of Bailey; eight children, Charlie Moore Jr. and his wife, Myrtle, of DeKalb; Willie Moore and his wife, Katherleen, and Fred Moore, all of Chicago; A.R. Moore and his wife, Lobell, of Meridian; Eugene Moore of Chicago; Leon Moore and his wife, Margie, of DeKalb; Ella Houston and her husband John of Meridian and Jeanette Moore of Bailey; 27 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Ethel Lee Davis of Flint, Mich.; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.
Visitation will be Monday from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. at funeral home.
