Verlena Johnson and Willie Seals Jr. were married in a private outdoor ceremony with the sky-line of the Emerald City in Seattle, Wash., as the background. The ceremony was Thursday, July 4, 2002, with about 50 people in attendance.
The bride wore an ivory dress with seed pearls embroidered into the lace. It featured at V-shaped neckline and a detailed back with buttons from the neckline to the waistline, which extended into a lace covered train.
The couple resides in Seattle, where the bridegroom is a pastor. The bride is a former employee of Weems Community Health Center in Meridian.
