Jones, Scott

James E. and Charlene Stone of Stringer and and Rickey O. Jones Sr. of Ellisville announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Jones, to Brad Scott, son of Billy Scott of Bay Springs, Karen Palmer of Raleigh and Dean Morris of Bay Springs.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, at 6 p.m. at Ash-Leah Manor in Hattiesburg.
Miss Jones is the granddaughter of Charles Ray Jordan of Laurel and the late June Jordan, and Olen and Mary Jones of Ellisville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale Attendance Center and received her associate's degree in medical office management from Jones County Junior College. She plans to pursue a degree in nursing at Meridian Community College.
While at JCJC, she was a member of Phi Beta Lambda.
Mr. Scott is the grandson of Will and Dot King of Bay Springs, Betty Scott of Sylvarena, the late Onetta Sumrall of Montrose and the late Marvin Scott of Sylvarena.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Bay Springs High School. He is employed by Howard Industries.
A reception will be held at Ash-Leah Manor following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to the attend.
