Firefighters called to lumber fire

Firefighters responded to a fire at Hankins Lumber Co. in Quitman at about 9 p.m. Thursday and were still on the scene at 11 p.m.
The Clarke County Sheriff's Department was unable to provide additional information, including how many volunteer fire departments responded. Area volunteer fire departments also could not be reached.
