Moonlight Run gears up tonight

The Meridian Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring a Moonlight 5K Run tonight at Northeast Tennis and Softball Complexes.
Rick Hajek of the Meridian Athletic Association said the race will be conducted in a lighted area. Entry fee will be $15 per participant.
Mark Naylor of the Meridian Parks and Recreation will be the director of the race.
Hajek said he has 60 official entries for the race. He expects the field to be "at least 100 and maybe 130."
Registration for the race will begin at 9 p.m. and run until 9:45 p.m. The race will begin at 10 p.m.
