Bailey, Justus

Mr. and Mrs. William Charles Stewart Jr. of Brandon and Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Mack Bailey Jr. of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy Michelle Bailey, to Robert Stafford Justus Jr., son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Stafford Justus of Meridian, and Brenda Lott Justus of Collierville, Tenn.
The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at 3 p.m. at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.
Miss Bailey is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Jackson Colvin of Jackson, the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Mack Bailey, and Mr. and Mrs. William Charles Stewart of Kosciusko.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She received a master's in counseling psychology from the University of Central Arkansas.
Miss Bailey is employed by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she does health policy research.
Mr. Justus is the grandson of Ursula May Phares of Millington, Tenn., and the late Maurice Phares, Donald Middleton Justus of Seattle, and Mr. and Mrs. Franklin River Lott of Collierville.
The bridegroom-elect attended West Lauderdale High School and currently attends the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing.
Mr. Justus is employed by Biomedical Research Foundation at the Veterans Administration hospital in Little Rock, Ark., where he does clinical research.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
