MACON Graveside services for Lucille S. Jackson were to be held today at 10:30 a.m. at Oddfellows Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Miller officiating. Cockrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jackson, 89, Macon, died Saturday, July 27, 2002, at Noxubee General Hospital.
Survivors include her daughter, Martha Abrams of Bogulusa, La.; a son, Bob Jackson of Westfield, N.J.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Jackson.

BUTLER,Ala. Services for Ronnie Vernon Foxall will be held today at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Bruce officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Mr. Foxhall, 55, of Toxey,Ala., died Saturday, July 27, 2002, on Slater Landing Road. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam.
Survivors include his sisters, Bonnie Kirkham of Thomasville, Ala.; and Sylvia White of Little Rock, Ark.; brothers, Arnold Wilson of Union Town, Ala., and Terry Wilson.
Visitation will be today beginning at noon at the funeral home.

BRUCE Services for Evelyn Burgess Grist will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Bruce Cemetery.
Mrs. Grist, 95, of Bruce, died Monday, July 29, 2002, at Calhoun Health Services in Calhoun City. She was a charter member of Westside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Madge Glenn of Meridian; Bobbie Jane Shekell and her husband, Bob of Pittsboro; eight grandchildren, Sammy Lynn Reeves and her husband, Scott, of Atlanta; Roseann Justice and her husband, Rick, of Meridian; Bobby Gordon Brown, and his wife, Judy, of Bruce; Mike Winter of Bruce, Kenneth Winter and his wife, Jackie, of Indianola; Joe T. "Joey" Grist Jr. and his wife, K.C., of Bruce; April Grist and Lee Grist of Hickory Flat; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Curt Grist; a son Joe T. Grist Sr. and two brothers, Claude Burgess and Walter Burgess.
Pallbearers will be Billy Grist, Don Grist, Rick Justice, Tommy Bond, Wilber Grist and W.A. Grist.
Visitation will be today at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for William Hiram Giles will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dr. David Chambers and Jamie Lamoreaux officiating. Burial will be in Cokers Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Giles, 81, of Meridian, died Sunday, July 28, 2002, in his home. He was a founding member and deacon at Briarwood Baptist Church and a member of the V.F. W. He served in the European Campaign in World War II, and received the silver star, and three bronze stars and a purple heart.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Ward Giles of Meridian; two daughters, Cathy Giles Williamson and her husband, Lester Williamson Jr., of Meridian, Patricia Lynn Giles of Meridian; two sons, William "Bill" Giles Jr. and his wife, Vicki, of Byram and Jeffrey Ward Giles of Lake Charles, La.; three grandchildren, Virginia Wright Williamson, Lester "Les" Franklin Williamson III and John Thomas Williamson; three special cousins, Hazel Coker Marshall, Tommie Coker and Billy Coker; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be the deacons of Briarwood Baptist Church, Billy Rawson, Jerome Embry, Mitch Landreneay, Earl McDaniel, Ed Gerrard, Ed Shealy and Jaff Barncastle.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Edwards, Tony Ethridge, James Ford, Wadell Robinson, Maxie Baucum and Gerald Quarders.
Memorials may be made to American Kidney Foundation or Briarwood Baptist Church.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
CELESTE ALLISON HOBBS
Graveside services for Celeste Allison Hobbs will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Wall officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hobbs, 100, of Meridian, died Sunday, July 28, 2002.
Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Hobbs Cole and her husband, Robert, of Montgomery, Ala., and Carol Hobbs Mulvey of Manchester, N.H.; grandchildren, William Hunter Cole II, and Leslie Allison Cole, both of Montgomery, Shannon Mulvey of Monterey, Mass., and Kelly Mulvey of San Diego; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Calloway Hobbs.
