MACON Services for Vergie Mae Hailey will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Shuqualak Methodist Church with the Revs. Darren Chester and Gerald Butler officiating. Burial will be in Hailey/Richey Cemetery with Cockrell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hailey, 94, of Columbus, died Thursday, July 25, 2002, at Trinity Place Health Care Center.
Survivors include her daughter, Addie Jo Mask of Brooksville; two sons, Roy "Bill" Hailey and John Andy Hailey, both of Shuqualak; a sister, Amanda Bonesteel of Columbus; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

UNION Services for Bill Terrell will be held today at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion C.M. Church with the Revs. Johnny Mullinax and Tod Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Terrell, 80, of Union, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002, in his home.
Survivors include his sons, Vic Terrell and his wife, Pearl, Tarrilee H. Terrell and his wife, Pat, and Ernie W. Terrell and his wife, Lavonda, all of Union; one daughter, Shelia L. Terrell Hatch and her husband, Darwin, of Forest; two brothers, Bob Terrell and Buck Terrell, both of Union; one sister, Francis Smith of Decatur; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elois Terrell, two brothers, Halcom Terrell and Jim Terrell.
Pallbearers will be Lee Terrell, Talon Terrell, Brent Terrell, Greg Farmer, Tony Jones and Jeremy Jones.

YORK, Ala. Graveside services for Emma Estill Peacock will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brewersville Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Meadows officiating. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Peacock, 100, of Talladega, formerly of Livingston, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Autumn Trace Assisted living Center.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Phoebe Johnson and Sarah Estill.

Services for James "Jim" Sheldon Williamson will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Revs. Clay Chancelor, Buddy Braddock and Shane Freeman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Williamson, 71, of the Causeyville Community, died Monday, July 22, 2002, in Causeyville.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Williamson of Causeyville; a son, Ricky Williamson and his wife, Ann, of Stonewall; daughters, Donna Shirley and her husband, Randy, of Meridian, Barbara Christian and her husband, Willie D., of Cuba, Ala., and Tracy Runnels and her husband, Tim, of Toomsuba; 13 grandchildren, Michael and Steven Shirley, Ashley Vann, Tracy Chapman, Carl Singley Jr., James David Runnels, Jessica Williamson, Hollie Williamson, Sherri Williamson, Kim, Bryan, Danny and David Hardings; 30 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Robinson and her husband, Johnny, of Bucyrus, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Emma Jane Walker of Hammond, La., and Margaret Williamson of Bucyrus, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noel and Sadie Williamson; brothers, Alton and Arnold Williamson; and a grandson, Lance Shirley.
Pallbearers will be Carl Ray Singley Jr., Steven Shirley, Marty Hagwood, Stacy Chapman, Michael Shirley, Roger Robinson, Dewayne Robinson and Curtis Kirkland.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

DEKALB Services for Mary T. Davis will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Yantley, Ala., with the Revs. Willie D. Burton and E.E. McDonald officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Davis, 87, of Yantley, Ala., died Sunday, July 21, 2002, at Arbor of Fairlawn Nursing Home in Akron, Ohio.
Survivors include two sons, D.C. Davis Jr. and his wife, Clara, of Colombus, Ohio; Joe Davis and his wife, Bea, of Cincinnati; two daughters, Freddie Tarvin of Ward, Ala.; and Ada Loften of Akron; two sons, Robert Davis and his wife, Angie, of Birmingham, Ala.; and Lawrence Davis and his wife, Evenlyn, of Cleveland, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, a brother, Henry Larkin of Cincinnati; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son.
Visitation will be Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Rencher, 77, of Scooba, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Meridian Community Living Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Little and her husband, Ceaser, of Scooba; two sons, Matthew Williams of Goose Creek, S.C.; and John E. Williams of Scooba; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Olivia McKnuckles and Mamie Smoot, both of East St. Louis, Ill.; and Gennie Mae Brim of Tupelo; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters.
Visitation will be today from noon-1 p.m at the church.

Services for Bobbye Rutherford Morrison will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Stephen's Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam Hull officiating. Burial will be in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery on Old Eighth Street Road.
Mrs. Rutherford, 77, of Montrose, Colo., died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, in Montrose. She was a nurse at Rush Foundation Hospital for more than 25 years and was formerly employed at Burnley Shirt Factory. She also was a member of East End United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Howell of Motrose, Colo.; granddaughters, Crystal Boles and Janis Boles Dean, both of San Diego; a brother, the Rev. Hubert Rutherford of Collinsville; and sisters, Mattie Lou Rutherford and Minnie Faye Murphy, both of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Morrison, her parents, Walter and Esther Rutherford, and her sister, Evelyn Smith.
Pallbearers will be Bert Rutherford, Joe Walters, John Will Walters, Cecil Watts Jr., Charles Godwin and Ed Stephens.
Visitation will be today from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
