THOMAS H. COPELAND SR.
Retired engineer
Services for Thomas H. Copeland Sr. will be held today at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Concord Methodist Cemetery.
Mr. Copeland, 87, of Meridian, died Thursday, July 18, 2002, at his home. He was a retired engineer with Southern Railway, a member of Fifth Street United Methodist Church and belonged to Woodmen of the World.
Survivors include his daughters, Clarice Stahl, of Meridian, and Peggy Ramage, and her husband, Bob, of Meridian; his son, Thomas Copeland Jr., of Meridian; his sisters, Ruth McDonald, Inez Keller and Louise Cox; brothers Sonny Copeland and James Copeland; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and special caregivers, Dwayne and Cathy Fisher.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Alma Copeland and Orlena Copeland.

DEKALB Services for Isabell "Bell" Wahl will be held today at 2 p.m. at Lynville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Lampkin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Wahl, 89, of Preston, died Thursday, July 18, 2002, at Mississippi Health Care Center in DeKalb. She was a retired housekeeper.
Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Landrum and her husband, Rufus, of Preston; two granddaughters, Lisa Lovorn and her husband, Richie, of Louisville and Terri Williams, of Oregon; one grandson, Michael Landrum, of Louisiana; three great-grandchildren, Jordan Lovorn, and Kayla Lovorn, both of Louisville, Delta Williams of Oregon; and one great-great- grandchild, Alexa Williams, of Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her son, Fredrick Ford.
Visitation will be today from 1 p.m.- 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Landrum, Herbert Ray Peden, H.P. Gully, William Hailey, Jimmy Shults, and William Strait.
LILLIAN LOWERY MOSLEY

Services for Lillian Lowery Mosley will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Toby Lofton and Clay Satcher officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Mosley, 85, of Collinsville, died Thursday, July 18, 2002, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian. She was retired from May Webb Hosiery Mill after more than 54 years of service.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Mosley of Collinsville; a daughter, Carol Bateman and her husband, Harold, of Marion; three sons, Roy H. Smith and his wife, Susan, of Sturgis, Charles "Chuck" Mosley and his wife, Gail, of Meridian; and Howard Mosley and his wife, Sue, of Collinsville; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
WILLIE FOUNTAIN KNOX

Graveside services for Willie Fountain Knox will be held today at 3 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Gerry Copeland officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Knox, 98, of Meridian, died Thursday, July 18, 2002, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home. She was a retired manager of Smart and Thrifty Dress Shop, Eleanor Shop, and Diana Shop for years. She was a member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church and was secretary for many years at Aldersgate Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her daughter, Katherine Knox Ghiglieri and her husband, Bud, of Meridian; grandsons, Fred Knox and his wife, Kelly, of Fairhope, Ala., Andy Ghiglieri and his wife, Connie, of Ovieda, Fla., Fred Ghiglieri of Albany, Ga.; granddaughter, Vicky Knox Ethridge and her husband, Joe, of Birmingham, Ala.; seven great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; three great-great-grandsons; and three great-great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lamar Knox and a son, Frederick Lamar Knox.
IRVADEAN JONES

Services for Irvadean Jones will be held today at 4 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Toby Lofton officiating. Burial will be in Hamrick Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones, 92, of Collinsville, died Friday, July 19, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Survivors include a brother, Charles Moore and his wife, Christine of Collinsville; two sisters, Sadye Snowden and her husband, Wilbur, of the Centerhill Community; and Christine Small of Collinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband J. D. Jones.
Visitation will be today from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Lesley Harwell, Ronnie Dallas, Wayne Buckhannon, Don Ishee, Keith Moore and Joey McMullin.
BARBARA SUE BRAGG

YORK, Ala. Services for Barbara Sue Bragg will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Albert Creel officiating. Burial will be in Shorts Cemetery.
Mrs. Bragg, 51, of Cuba, died Friday, July 19, 2002, at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Parker Bragg of Cuba; two sons, Michael Bragg of Eufaula; and Dennis Bragg of Cuba; her mother, Syble Simmons of Bellamy; three sisters, Carol Robinson of Preston, Miss.; Debbie Carney of Ward; and Jane Mazingo of Eufaula; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
JAMES EARL HOLMES
Retired from Peavey
Services for James Earl Holmes will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church with the Rev. Lannis May officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Holmes, 58, of Meridian, died Friday, July 19, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Holmes of Meridian; two daughters, Cathy Smith and her husband Dudley and Christy Roberts and her husband, Troy; a son, David Holmes and his wife, Michelle; three step-sons, Allan Litchfield and his wife, Sheri, Scott Litchfield and his wife, Tania, and Mark Litchfield; two sisters, Joyce Eaves and Carol Thompson; and his grandchildren, Margaret Litchfield, Dustin Litchfield, Johathan Smith, Chelsea Litchfield, Susan Rietzke Holmes, Christopher Holliman, Heather Litchfield, Tyler Makayla Roberts and Zackary Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Holmes, his mother, Evelyn Bolton, and his step-father, Vaughn Bolton.
Pallbearers will be Michael Litchfield, Jeremy Litchfield, Steven Litchfield, Randall Roberts, Paul Jones, Don Hopkins, Jimmy Doggett and Raymond Sims.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
