Morse, Mosby

Margaret Mosby and John Julian Morse, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002, at St. Patrick Church with Father Elvin Sunds officiating.
Parents of the couple are C.P. and Gayle Mosby of Meridian, and Robert L. and Rita Morse of Bailey.
Grandparents of the bride are Allie Margaret Mosby and Judy McInnis, both of Meridian, Pete McInnis of Needham, Ala., and the late Charles P. Mosby Jr.
Grandparents of the bridegroom-elect are the late Mr. and Mrs. John P. Hedgepeth, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Julian Morse, all of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Edward Noble, organist; Sister Andr Burkhart and Jenifer Kemp, soloists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore an ivory two piece lilciana satin and French tulle gown with hand beading. The bodice featured a fully structured and corseted bodice with lacing closing the back. A detachable semi-cathedral-length train completed the gown. She wore a two-tiered veil of silk illusion, anchored by a rhinestone tiara.
Matron of honor was Melissa Lang Brown of Jackson. Other attendants were Kimberly Nicole Thompson, Jenifer Jo Kemp and Amanda Delaine Hodges, all of Meridian, and Angelin Mosby Douglass of Brandon.
Flower girls were Reagan Delaine Creel of Meridian and Reagan Ashley Douglass of Brandon.
Honorary bridesmaids were Amber Denise Shannon and Jenna Lynn Shults, both of Meridian, Megan Smith and Lauren Nicole Hillman, both of Hattiesburg.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were John Wesley Brent of Meridian, Gary Zane Riddle of Bailey, Steven Keith Tillman of Jackson and Jerry Dan Roberts of Arkansas.
Michael Walker Mosby of Brandon and Zachary Fate Riddle of Bailey served as ring bearers.
Program attendants were Laura Lang, Ashley Parnell and Courtney Ratcliff.
Assisting at the reception were Wanda Pugh, Shirley Semmes, Cathy Castleberry, Jane Castleberry and Linda Riddle.
After a honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple resides in Bailey.
