Moore, Flanagan

Susan Moore of Enterprise announces the engagement of her daughter, Mary Elizabeth, to Burt Anthony Flanagan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Flanagan of Greenville.
The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at 6 p.m. at Enterprise Baptist Church.
Miss Moore is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.W. Clay of Enterprise, and Mr. and Mrs. Mantel Clay of Louisville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Enterprise High School. She received a bachelor's degree in computing and information systems and international business, graduating cum laude with honors, from Mississippi College.
While at MC, she was a member of the President' s List, the association of Computing Machinery, the American Chemical Society, and studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria for a semester. She participated in the MC Honors Program.
The bride-elect is employed by the United States Department of Agriculture in Stoneville, as an information technology specialist in the field of bioinformatics of catfish. She is also pursuing a master's degree at Delta State University.
Mr. Flanagan is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Flanagan of Kilmichael, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Pope Noell of Harlington, Texas. He is the great-grandson of Ruby Brake of Heber Springs, Ark.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Washington School and received a bachelor's degree in computer science, graduating magna cum laude, from Mississippi College.
While at MC, he was a member of the Dean's List, President's List, the Association of Computing Machinery, the BSU, and studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria for a semester. He also played offensive tackle for the Choctaw football team for four years.
He is employed as a computer systems assistant at Yazoo Mississippi Delta Joint Water Management District in Stoneville. He is also pursuing his master's degree at Delta State University.
A reception will be held at the church family life center following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
