Jessica Beth Payment of Huntsville, Ala., and Joseph Michael Green of Meridian were married Saturday, May 18, 2002, at Latham United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dan Kitchens officiating.
Parents of the couple are Larry and Lillian Green, and Tim and Kathleen Payment.
Grandparents of the bride are Buddy and Martha Green of York, Ala.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late A.A. Hinson Jr. and Jane Hinson of Linden, Ala.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Judy Prestige, organist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Ginger Winberry of Brighton, Tenn. Other attendants were Lindley Carruth of Starkville and Sarah Wood of Knoxville, Tenn.
Louis Shedd of Muscle Shoals, Ala., served as best man. Groomsmen were Jim Whitehead of Hernando and Mark Miles of Haleyville, Ala.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the couple resides in Starkville.
