Dowden, Reynolds

Carl Dowden Jr. and Vanessa Dowden of Brandon announce the engagement of their daughter, Linnie Rebekah, to Robby Mart Reynolds, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Reynolds and Joyce Reynolds, all of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, at 6 p.m. at Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church in Meridian.
Miss Dowden is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dowden Sr. of Hickory, Joy Pitre of Raleigh, La., and Jack Saroie of West Lake, La.
The bride-elect is a graduate of University Christian School. She is attending Mississippi State University-Meridian branch, pursuing a degree in elementary education.
Miss Dowden is employed with the Meridian Public School District.
Mr. Reynolds is the grandson of Geneva Reynolds of Meridian and the late Marvin Reynolds, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Pittman of Ellisville.
Mr. Reynolds is employed by Glass Incorporated.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
