GARCIA P. GIBSON
Retired
Services for Garcia P. Gibson will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Gibson, 80, of Meridian, died Saturday, July 6, 2002, at Heartfelt Hospice. He was retired from the Lauderdale County Sheriff's office. Mr. Gibson was a veteran of World War II and served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force in the European and Japanese theaters.
Survivors include his wife, Willie F. Gibson of Meridian; sons, Garcia W. Gibson and Robert A. Gibson, both of Meridian; six sisters and one brother; 24 grandchildren; step-children, Barbara Jackson, Virginia Sprinkle, Michael Wood Sr., Ray Wood, Tony Wood and Ed Wood.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Michael Wood Sr., Michael Wood Jr., Jody Dyess, Robert A. Gibson Jr., David Jackson, Ray Wood, Tony Wood, James Wood and Steve Holloman.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
RETHA ANN MILLER HAVARD

PHILADELPHIA Services for Retha Ann Miller Havard will be held today at 4 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Henry Cupstid officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mrs. Havard, 36, of Hickory, died Thursday, July 4, 2002, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include her husband, Lamar Havard of Hickory; a daughter, Kristi Havard of Hickory; a stepdaughter, Amanda Kennedy of Puckett; a stepson, Christopher Harvard of Polkville; her mother, Barbara Miller of Meridian; sisters, Kelly Hall of Meridian and Barbara Fields of Philadelphia; and a brother, Jerry Miller of Philadelphia.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Albert Miller in 1985.
HENRY S. FRAZIER
Retired City of Meridian employee
Services for Henry S. Frazier will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Fred Frazier and Joey Everett officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Frazier, 89, of Bailey, died Saturday, July 6, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Frazier Grover Church of God and retired from the City of Meridian as a machine operator.
Survivors include his wife, Audie Mae Frazier, a son, Stanley Frazier and his wife, Peggy, sisters, Pauline Espey, Della Joyner, Emma Ree Anderson and Dora Penny, all of Bailey, and Peggy McKee of Georgia; brothers, the Rev. Fred Frazier and Lavelle Frazier, both of Bailey, Hubert Frazier of Collinsville and Clyde O. Frazier of Meridian; grandchildren, Joyce Sylvester of Bailey, Tatia Arnold of North Carolina and Tina Shepperd of Daleville; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shirley Heblon; a grandson, William Frazier; a sister, Beatrice Daniels; brothers, Alfred Frazier and Burnell Frazier.
Pallbearers will be Joe Reid, Ben Vick, Harold Frazier, Jimmie Frazier, Toney Sylvester, Scott Shepperd, David Hogue and Ray Arnold.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

NEWTON Graveside services for James Colbert Kennedy Jr. will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Liberty Church Cemetery with the Rev. J.B. Costilow officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kennedy, 51, of Madison, died Saturday, July 6, 2002, in Jackson. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and the Mississippi National Guard. He was owner of Independent Surveyor Prostake Company.
Survivors include his sister, Sandra Gibbon of Newton; two nieces, Kimberly Norman and Carrie Norman, both of Brandon; and a nephew, Kurk Weems of San Francisco.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Colbert and Doris Irby Kennedy Sr.
Pallbearers will be Franklin Norman, Tyler Norman, Sandy Everett, Randy Wall, Truett Hawkins and Michael Graczyk.
