Man attempts armed robbery

Law enforcement officers are seeking help in finding a man who attempted to rob a convenience store at 1 p.m. Thursday.
The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department is looking for a black male, about 6 feet 1 inch tall and armed with a handgun, who entered the Taylor Pak-A-Sak at 369 Briarwood Road.
The man left the store in a blue Ford Mustang after both the store clerk and a customer refused to give him money, officers said. Anyone with any information should call CrimeStoppers at (601) 917-8888.
