Services for Donna J. Rigdon will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Null officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in the Martin Community.
Ms. Rigdon, 50, of Meridian, died Saturday, July 6, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a private duty nursing and member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Celina Reed and her husband, Jimmy, of Collinsville, and Becky Rigdon of Meridian; three grandchildren, Matthew, Madyson Reed and Jacob Ousley; five brothers, Elvin Waller and his wife, Becky, of Summerdale, Ala., Carl Waller and his wife, Suzette, of Foley, Ala., Darrell Waller, Terry Waller and his wife, Patricia, and Doyle Waller and his wife, Joanne, all of Meridian; special cousins, Charlotte McGlown and her husband, Charles, and their son, Davy, Dianne Nester and her husband, Ronnie, Cindy Brewer and her husband, Darryl, and Phil Waller and his wife, Rhonda, all of Meridian; her mother, Peggy Robinson and her step-father, Jim, of Meridian; her father, Dewey Waller of Mobile, Ala.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
REBECCA DAVIS
Services for Rebecca Davis will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis, 74, of Meridian, died Saturday, July 6, 2002, in Meridian.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
WISTA MINGEA PARSONS
Retired elementary school teacher
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. Graveside services for Wista Mingea Parsons will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery. Gunter and Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Parsons, 93, died Saturday, July 6, 2002, at Pines Nursing and Rehab in Hot Springs. She was a elementary school teacher with the Hot Springs School District.
Survivors include her sister, Judy Housman of DeKalb, Miss.; a niece, Judy H. Lacy of Quitman, Miss.; three great-nieces, Angela Harris of Mandeville, La., Suzanne Young of Pulaski, Miss., and Laurie Hunt of Raymond, Miss.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Parsons; and a sister, Edith McLeod.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
WENDELL E. MARLATT
Retired special agent
Services for Wendell E. Marlatt will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Druid Hills United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Ludlow Cemetery in Ludlow, Ill., with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Marlatt, 79, of Meridian, died Saturday, July 6, 2002, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home. He was a retired special agent and worked with ICG Railroad for 34 years. He was a member of Druid Hills United Methodist Church, Fraternal Order of Police and the Mississippi-Alabama Law Enforcement Officers Association.
Survivors include two sons, Jon Marlatt of Dolton, Ill., and Fred Marlatt and his wife, Edith, of Concord, Calif.; two grandchildren, Matthew Marlatt and Melinda Marlatt of Concord.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred E. Marlatt.
The family requests memorials be made to Druid Hills United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
KAROL O. KOCOUREK
Retired engineer
Memorial services for Karol O. Kocourek will be held Saturday at 10 p.m. at the Church of the Mediator with the Revs. Ann L. Whitaker, Mike Dobrosky and Eddie B. Cryer officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kocourek, 69, of Meridian, died Saturday, July 6, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
The family requests memorials be made to Wesley House or the American Heart Association.
Visitation will be Friday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the church.
