A two-vehicle, head-on collision on Highway 493 near Bailey sent three people to the hospital and seriously damaged a Nissan Stanza and a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 2500.
Details remained sketchy Thursday night; the wreck happened at about 8 p.m.
Eric Stephens, 18, of Bailey said he was driving the Silverado south around a curve on Highway 493 when the accident happened. Stephens said he suffered minor cuts.
A passenger in Stephens' truck and the driver and passenger of the Nissan were taken to a hospital by Metro Ambulance. Their names were unavailable.
Sgt. Johnny Knox with the Mississippi Highway Patrol said the driver of the Nissan had facial cuts and a neck injury and that the passenger had a head injury and broken nose.
