Harrison, Posey

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Harrison of Union announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Alice, to James Chandler Pepper Posey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hays Posey of Philadelphia.
The wedding will be Saturday, July 13, 2002, at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Union.
Miss Harrison is the granddaughter of Mary Shelton of Union and the late Mack Shelton, and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Harrison of Little Rock.
The bride-elect is a 1994 graduate of Union High School and a 1996 graduate of East Central Community College. She received a degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University in 1999.
While at ECCC, she was a member of the softball team, the cheerleader squad and the student government group.
While at MSU, she was a member of the MSU Pom Squad, Kappa Delta Pi honorary society and the Golden Key National Honor Society.
Miss Harrison is employed by Scott Central Attendance Center in Forest.
Mr. Posey is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Barnwell of Crossville, Tenn., Mable Pearl Posey of Philadelphia and the late Frank Posey.
The bridegroom-elect is a 1988 graduate of Neshoba Central High School and received a degree in coaching and sports administration from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1993.
Mr. Posey, a former teacher and coach at Choctaw Central High School, is currently employed by Neshoba Central High School in Philadelphia.
A reception will be held at the Philadelphia/Neshoba Country Club following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
