SHREVEPORT, La. Services for Dimple Ione Perkins Stringfellow will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William McLemore officiating. Burial will be in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Stringfellow, 80, of Shreveport, died Saturday, June 29, 2002, in her home. She was a native of Newton County, Miss., and a member of Kenner First Baptist Church, the Shreveport Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 14.
Survivors include her daughters, Sarah L. McLemore and her husband, Frank, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Bonnie I. Janak and her husband, Peter, of Metamora, Mich.; a sister, Opal L. Sanderford of Tupelo; two brothers, William Creel of Moss Point and Kenneth Rich of Richton; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and 14 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest V. "Elmo" Stringfellow.
