Gunn, Holifield

Lindsey Summer Gunn of Enterprise and James Clayton Holifield of Quitman were married Saturday, March 9, 2002, at Enterprise United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Billy Hayes and Glenn Brister officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wayne Gunn of Enterprise, and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Holifield of Quitman.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Ware Mason of Isney, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gunn and the late Frank Lindsey.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Welborn and the late Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Holifield.
Nuptial music was provided by Bobbye Taylor, pianist and soloist.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white strapless gown of silk organza. The fitted bodice was heavily adorned with embroidered flowers, bugle beads, pearls and crystals. The simple gathered skirt flowed into a chapel-length train trimmed with a matching design as the dress bodice. She wore a fingertip veil of silk illusion anchored by a headband of Austrian crystals. She carried a cascading bouquet of yellow and fuschia roses.
Robin Gunn attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were LaShae Reynolds, Tiffany Chancellor, Amanda Mallard and Jessica Lindsey.
Junior bride was Madelyn Helms and flower girl was Brianna Jordan Gunn, niece of the bride.
Kenneth Holifield served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Alex Taylor, Jerome Moore, Scott Kelly and Joseph Mathis. Ushers were Steven Gunn, Jesse Chavez and "Little" Jessie Chavez.
Junior bridegroom was Caleb Justin Gunn, nephew of the bride. Ring bearer was James Chavez, cousin of the bridegroom.
A reception, hosted by the bride's parents, was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Stacy Kamper, Patricia Lindsey and Rita Chavez and Alisha "LeLe" Mallard.
Following a honeymoon in the Smoky Mountains, the couple resides in Enterprise.
