Davis, Rutherford

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gatewood Davis Jr. of Brandon announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Kell, to Wayne Milton Rutherford Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Milton Rutherford Sr. of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, May 18, 2002, at 6 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Jackson.
Miss Davis is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gatewood Davis of Columbus and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward Harper of Jackson.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Jackson Preparatory School and is attending the University of Mississippi pursuing a degree in dietetics and nutrition.
Mr. Rutherford is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Stahnke of Meridian; Mrs. Clelon Wayne Rutherford of Tupelo and the late Mr. Rutherford.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Lamar School and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
While attending Ole Miss, he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.
Mr. Rutherford is employed as youth minister at Christ Presbyterian Church of Oxford.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
