Jemison, Dennis

Mr. and Mr. Donald Jemison Sr. of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Lydia Lea, to Gregory James Dennis, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Dennis of Tuttle, Okla.
The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, at 4 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church Chapel.
Ms. Jemison is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thompson Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Jemison Sr., all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received a degree in biochemistry from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, she was a member of The Reflector, Golden Key National Honor Society, Famous Maroon Band and Sigma Alpha Iota.
Ms. Jemison is currently a third year medical school student at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Mo.
Mr. Dennis is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dunlap, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Adoft Dennis, all of Oklahoma City, Okla.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Tuttle High School and received a degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry, from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
While attending Southwestern, he was a member of the Biology Club.
Mr. Dennis is currently a second year medical student at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Mo., and is working as a paramedic with hospitals in Oklahoma City.
A reception will be held at Highland Baptist Church tea room.
